travelogue: Horas in Medan

horas (how do you do in Indonesian/Batak language)

so, you read the title. with strong urge by Ben10 and friends, I documented the journey, sebab kitorang pun banyak menge"search" jugak. so, i think our journey is worth shared as we do it all by ourself (i.e. lodging, transport, detail ittenary, etc.) kata pun Planner kan. haha.lagipun, boleh dapat pahala iye dok? even madam mama jeles. you wait aa mama, along nak celen mama nye traveled list nih. hoho.

I would say this is an adhoc trip. beli tix 2weeks before (rasanya semua trip aku adhoc -_-") (nina, u better sayang kitorang lebey), tukar duit hours before. thus, plan pun xbape proper. biasa, siap ngan weather forecast, masa sembahyang siap. hoho

Location: Medan - Berastagi - Taman Simalem (the scene is soo breathtaking) - Parapat - Samosir Island -Parapat - Sipiso-piso waterfall - Medan
Duration: 3 days 3 nights

Route : there are 2 routes to lake toba, one via berastagi another via permatang siantar. the siantar road much better condition, but however the berastagi much scenical and more local friendly therefore much worse condition.lolx

Budget (exclusive airfare): RM1150 (both me & Ben10)
GMT+9

Day 1
- Reach Polonia Airport at 9.40pm local time. stay at MyDream Hotel (4 stars, located kat tengah bandar). ongkos nya Rp 575k (RM180~) for two rooms.
- Before that inside the flight mcm biasa u have to isi Indonesian Custom punyer form, no worries just isi.
- By the time u landed, and enter the building mcm biasa jugak kene hadap with immigration. Dekat sini the Indonesian Immigration will take ur pix, if u wearing glass have to, take it off.
- By the time u exit the building, I notice lots of Proton Saga BLM taxi and from afar you can see Petronas station.ha ha ha the ambient there pretty much like Malaysia
-at that moment jugak u will see a group of supir/taxi driver, I guess the standard rate from polonia airport to medan is Rs70k (RM21), because last time we kene charge around that price.
-one more thing, dekat airport tu jugak you can change indonesian currency i found that its much cheaper than compare to change the moolah in Malaysia

Day 2 (the roadtrip begin)
- Had our breakfast at Nasi Soto Hj Anuar Sulaiman (ala2 nasi sup). got chance to drink the so-famous tehbotol.hoho jakun.
- In the morning our supir by medan rent a car pick us up, the funny thing is that, we made appointment at 8 am in the morning, we wait till 9 am then the supir come. the supir then told us he come juz in time which is 8 am, we forgot Medan time is 1 hour late than malaysia.lolx
-Mental notes here, first please gave ur car rent agent at least ur hp number (available roaming) and most of the time ur supir can pick u up at the airport one day earlier for free. Too late for us, but you guys next time can make such arrangement.:)
- transport by MEDAN Rent A Car (USD200 or Rp 1,700k or Rm450 for 3 days, inclusive fuel, driver lodging and meal). drove by Pak Rijal yall
- along the way, nampak ler the buses, more like mini van, dengan takde pintu and orang, motor, whatnot kat atas. agak ngeri la jugak. initial plan, nak naik bus or train. budget bagpack abes la kan.nasib baik tak
- along the way u can delicious jagung bakar at Penatapan. ben10 da mengidam nak makan jagung bakar sebijik camtuh. mana nak carik weh (kalah orang pregnant husband aku nih -_-"). the jagung bakar taste unique if kat malaysia most of the time manis, but here spicy n sweet.
- singgah berastagi. macam elongated Cameron Highland with less meriah kedai. if tak banyak masa, you may skip this and go to Bukit Lawang or Pantai Cermin instead. kitorang tak sempat wuu
- singgah makan wajik & pecal kat Bahagia Restoran. gedik mengorder jus alpukat. hambek, tak tertelan.hoho
- Taman Simalem (entrance Rp 200k. was given Rp 25k meal voucher). can see the overview of Lake Toba. the scenery is breathtaking. we were literally stunt, asyik tenung the scenery before camwhoring like no tomorrow.hoho
- makan lagi kat Kodon-kodon cafe. the fried fritter is maveles yall
- erm, ok, kita ada singgah mana2 tak sebelum sampai Parapat? lupa.haha
- angkut kete from Parapat - Samosir island (Rp 200k, 1 hour journey on ferry). the schedule (as i recall la eh): start at 6 am, 1pm, 6pm, 9 pm. we were waiting turn for the 9pm one!!!
- sampai2 Samosir island da malam. check-in Samosir Cottage (Rp 500k for two rooms). maveles architecture with poor service. advice, bawak la portable iron, toiletries whatnot sendiri. they only provide the necessities.
- lapar, and Samosir island rumah makan is not muslim friendly. menapak lah kitorang ke kedai depan beli megi cup. lapar sume pun sodap. hoho

Day 3
- bangun awal budget nak tengok sunrise. sekali salah side lak.
- camwhore2 lagi, siap ada orang tuh almost mandi air Danau Toba.hoho
- initial plan: Simanindo (Batak Museum, Batak Dance) - Ambarita (Stone chair) - Tomok (jetty). skali change of plan, sebab Sunday (oh, lupa, most of Samosir Batak people is Christian. sepanjang jalan penuh dengan church), so the Batak dance held on 11.45 am, instead of 10.00am.
- kill time, camwhore2 lagi (thats explain nape sorang2 bersalin kulit once balik malaysia)
- join the Batak dance, budget dapat la Ulos (their kain-pua-look-a-like). sekali dorang amek balik. cit, sesaje je menge"burnt"kan muka
- instead of going to catch ferry kat tomok, kitorang pegi jetty dekat2 simanindo nih je
- kill time dengan camwhoring lagi
- another Rp200k to transport the mobil
- next destination is Sipiso-piso waterfall. glamer sebab 1) nampak punca mata air (tiba2 air keluar dari batu) 2) tinggi and nampak macam pisau
- perasan tak kitorang tak makan lagi, kitorang melantak kat rumah makan muslim yadayada (tak ingat haha).melantak like no tomorrow. mizz nina & yours truly siap order additional bakso. hoho
- kalau nak mandi, kena turun tangga for more/less 1km. memang takla, halfway je kitorang turun for the sake for camwhoring (again!)
- reach Grand Sakura Hotel (3star, ~Rp550k). ingat nak berspa, sekali tutup untuk menghormati puasa. bagus la tu
- dinner ayam penyet yadayada. cabe ijo is maveles. tapau nasi goreng for sahur

Day 4
- mizz nina kejut sahur around 3.00am, then sambung tido. hoho

- convertion used throughout the entry: Rp10 000 = RM3.50
- if you keep whining about your life, go to the listed location and be glad. even their Pajak (pekan kecil as in Indonesian) takde sekolah and air paip kot. that Pajak takdelah rural sangat pon, sama/lagi meriah dari Cameron Highland. even Cameron Highland ada sekolah kan
- tukar duit kat indonesia is way cheaper (i.e. 0.03508 at Jalan Tar, 0.0288 at Polonia Airport)
- rasuah sangat pfftpfftpfft.
Scene 1: nak anta geng A balik Malaysia. pak kastam tuh siap mintak duit suapan untuk bukak puasa (?) kalau kitorang nak anta sampai depan boarding gate. memang tak la kan
Scene 2: check-in bag, tak pasal2 ben10 kena panggil sebab bawa perfume (padahal bag lagi satu tuh penuh ngan mineral water lupa nak clear). panggil2 rupanya nak duit suapan. guess what, the same officer mintak suapan time anta geng A tadi kot
so, malaysia nak jadi camtu, silakan
- sebab budget, souvenir beli cukup2 for family members & friends. even the famous telekung pun tak beli
- souvenir tuk diri sendiri: sunburnt, diarrhea, muntah, foodpoisoning (aku sorang je yang kena -_-"), breakouts sebesar gajah (Ben10 kata aku pollution indicator -_-"), fever. balik2 terus MC
- hoyeah, Medan, thanks for the memory!!

so, this is the last minute trip, but i wont regret it.

Arrival Day
Sebab last minute and i got crucial meeting the day before, so i lambat 2 ari from the others. Nervous jugak, i have to travel alone to the Happy Guest House, and knowing me, i failed navigation miserably -_-". And South Korea as non-english speaking country does not help either. nasib jugak la ada ajusshi baik hati. wee

baik hati ajusshi :)

phew, after bertukar2 line (they have 9 subway line here) sampai la kat boetigogae. the thing is, i tak tau mana happy guest house tuh. alhamdullilah very luckily met the others (ainna, jamel, pza, anep) there. ya Allah, macam nak sujud syukur

Day 1: Nami Island

yeah, the so famous island. to get there is quite a thrill sebab our research way back home is using the old (before line 9 is develop) korea subway map. siap sesat & tersalah naik under maintenance train. the netizens are very helpful but we cant understand a thing. man jadda wa jadda, we reached nami island i.e. we take subway to Chuncheon-tukar line to Gapyeong (quite confusing, there is two different station which lead to the other way)-cab to the Nami Island jetty-ferry to Nami Island (W$8k). BUT, we opted for something else, Skyline yall (W$28k), aka flying fox across the river. and we're just 1 day late, kalau tak jumpa the shaheizey sam et all da.

Day 2: Gyeongbokgung Palace, Coex Aquarium

Seoul has soo many palaces, ada 3 kalau tak silap and we're being soo ambitious nak pegi all three. i tell you, even this one kitorang tak larat nak cover. btw, at 10am and 12pm they have their change of guard ceremony

We also went to the Coex Aquarium, situated at the Coex Mall (Gangnam Station - line 2). lebih kurang cam Aquaria :)

ouh ouh, we met Shaheizy Sam et all around Cheonggyecheon River, on our way having bibimbap for lunch. at last, am happy for you Ainna. weee!!!

Day 3: Everland (Gangnam station-bus no.5002, around 50min ride-everland bus), Cheonggyecheon River

Everland is a theme park-water park-all season flower garden. super awesome. thanks to pza, he dragged us riding the T Express (the steepest wooden roller coaster in the world, pfft), and thank god we all still in one piece. pza, ko tau tak tangan aku melecet pegang tangan ainna kuat sangat. nonetheless, it is thrilling experience :)

so, we ate shrimp/prawn burger (Lotteria, their so-called McDonald) by the road, kitorang pegi Cheonggyecheon aka awan dania (-_-") river. haha, dah our visit consultant aka jamel (&ainna) minat awan dania, nak buat macam mana kan. actually, this river has been restored from very polluted condition. siap jadi tourist attraction sebab ada laser2 show and historical stories kat bawah jambatan tuh :)

Day 4: Korea University, Yeuido Park, 63 Building (Wax Museum), Han River

Sebab our visit consultant juga adalah almost student Korea University (Gongdeok Station-line 6) before opted for UTP, hence the trip.

so, we went to Yeuido Park (Yeuido Station-Line 5) upon other guest in the house suggestion. Basically, taman bunga yang penuh sebab it's spring bebeh

Day 5: World Cup Stadium (World Cup Station-Line 6)

Haha, tau reason why kan, pegi ngan 2jejaka hantu bola memang gini laa. sempat lagi beli tiket nak tengok match bola -_-"

Day 6: Lotte World (W$38k, with Korea Tourist coupon, W$33k) (Jamsil Station-Line 2)

wee, the second group were here (nina, hawa, mag, wani, kema, aai, lin, syd) and we're going to Lotte World, another theme park, attached with Lotte Mall.

Day 7: Dongdaemun, Myeongdong

yeah, even shopping is not my forte, tapi apa guna tak beli souvenir kan (even i purposely bawa backpack so taley shop banyak. haha).worry not, pandai pilih, dapat duty free yall

Dongdaemun (Dongdaemun Station-Line 2) lebih kurang cam street market la. tak tau apa pasal, barang sentuh barang beli. nasib ler hardcore k-pop-till-they-can-master-the-language ada, boleh tawar-menawar

Myeongdong (Myeongdong Station-Line 4) pon tempat shopping gak.

Around 3pm balik kemas2 nak balik Malaysia.pfft. esok nya lemau lam office -_-"

Stay: Happy Guest House (~RM50/day). equipped with kitchen, desktop, internet (crucial in uploading the oh-so-sceneric photo and googling our journey), situated around Boetigogae Station (Line 6)

#1: t-money, (their rechargeable card used for paying transportation around South Korea, i.e. sub, bus, etc, sort of our rapid pass) can be bought at their convenient store at W$ 10k

#2: can get halal food at itaewon (Line 6, about two station away from our stay). kitorang masak sendiri hockey kat sana

i'm engaged. gosh, I AM SOMEONE'S FIANCE NOW. macam tak percaya jugak, it's surreal!!!

the majlis went well alhamdulillah. simple, yet meaningful. paling best bila rombongan ben10 (hurm, cam kena tukar gelaran je >.<) berduyun2 sampai, rupa2nya, someone from his side penah jadi cikgu someone from my side, and vice versa. his auntie selalu beli ikan ngan wan, his uncle selalu lepak kedai kopi ngan abah, macam2 kebetulan lah. bak kata pak uda, saudara ben ada alek depan, belakang, kiri, kanan kita :)). alhamdulillah, memang dipermudahkan. bila discuss pon, takdela awkward sangat. more like reunion :PP. i felt very much welcomed to his family, and i hope he felt the same way too.

**speechless. tak tau sebab da lama tak update blog, or still excited terkejut da bertunang.

btw, i would like to credit all these people for their help & support, kalau tak, tak menjadi majlis nih :)

I’ve been labeled as anti-social and Ben10 came up to me with these links.

First, what is anti-social by definition?? Anti-social as defined by American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual is “a pervasive pattern of disregard for and violation of the rights of others that begins in childhood or early adolescence and continues into adulthood” and considered as a type of disorder. Ni lah yang orang keep calling “sociopaths” and “psychopaths” tuh. One of its characteristics is inability to tolerate boredom.

Introvert on the other hand, based on Carl Jung is tend to be more reserved, less outgoing, but are also marked by a richer inner world. They are not loner nor shy, they just choose solitary over social activities by preference. Ambivert pulak is the 50% extrovert and 50% introvert.

I would say myself an ambivert, as I am reserved, enjoy my “me-time” and like energetic music. Plus, I believe UTP wouldn’t accept anyone with mental disorder, no?

So, re-phrase it as introvert rather than anti-social. Ehe

I unofficially graduate (read: free from any exam) last Wednesday, 18Nov09, yet am still here. I kemas2 the 5 years junk, tedious work to do, but I manage to keep just a nice big box of it. Now, macam mana nak move all these to Kelantan?? Aiyoo~

Not to mention ben10’s claim for me to be his cook. Aritu I da agree nak masak after I'd done with my papers, since he did all the cook throughout Ramadhan and some time masa exam week. Ben10 masak sedap woo. Believe it or not, we rarely beli bazaar food, except kuih&drinks. Plus, bazaar food way too tak sedap to my lidah. Even my roommate, Dila pon request for his fried beehun (sorry Dila, the secret ingredient da abes, so, cook da resign. Ehe)

With solely eggs, sausages and extra virgin olive oil (to promote healthier life), I buatkan sausage omelet, or more like sausage pancake than omelet. Haha.

FYP pon tak siap lagi nih. tsk, patut nya FYDP tu 21 credit hour, biar 1sem wat mende alah tu je. memang aneroxia la sorang2 muntah ngadap FYDP tuh. yela, kena select reactor type, arrange flow, arrange thermal & bed, optimize process pressure & temperature, calculate reactor volume, catalyst amount, select tube, determine number & lenght & thickness & arrangement & layout tube, calculate shell inside diameter (do you get it?? cik ben10 dengar halfway pon da penat. btw, yang i list nih tak sampai separuh pon, and, ni baru satu equipment. kitorang kena design 3 equipment sorang, altogether dengan yadayada part. read: economics, plant layout, control&instrumentation. again, panjang sangat nak list semua). lesson learnt: choose other engineering school other than chemical. muahaha

anyhow, arini i jog (lepas puas kena nag dengan cik ben10). boleh jugak hormon adrenaline i merembes keluar, selain jerawat stress yang da mula menonjolkan diri kat dahi i yang baru nak flawless. tsk

despite been evaluated by Dr Halim (i dengar ada student nanges2 kena dengan Dr Halim. lucky me perhaps) and Dr Moulay, AND incomplete research, my project got selected to EDX.

the EDX itself is a torture to me, as I hate crowded places and entertain people. the judging session is harsh. my poster boleh pulak buat drama, jatuh right before judging. panas telinga i, and i bet my face blushing. i stutter at first sampai asek sebut, "heavy metal can cause fatality if it ____ its toxic limit" dua kali kot sebut ayat tuh. lupe what "lebih" in english. aiyak! kat objective part baru i boleh compose myself and found my rhythm and sangat best counter soalan evaluaters lepas dapat first impression," oh, i've seen alot of this project last EDX". hahahaha

today, i langsung takde kat booth, pegi class hoccay! sembangat (read: semangat) pegi class, awal 5minutes woo. hari biasa takde event pon tak seawal nih. ehe. ok, enough with blahblahblah, my project got silver. nak bagi the medal to my SV la, as she's a new lecturer kat UTP and am her first student masuk EDX. btw, pity chemy department, langsung takde dapat gold. silver pon 2project je. yang lain semua bronze. terkejut kot. project peja cam best je. isk

sujud syukur

sebagai tanda kesyukuran, sama ada mendapat sesuatu nikmat and terhindar dari malapetaka. Melakukan sujud Syukur adalah sunat. Antara dalilnya ialah hadis dari Abu Bakr r.a.: "Bahawa Nabi Muhammad s.a.w., biasanya apabila menerima berita yang menggembirakannya, baginda terus sujud kepada Allah s.w.t". (Riwayat AbuDaud). however, menurut Imam Al-Ramli, sujud syukur itu terluput waktunya jika jarak di antara sujud itu dan sebabnya terlalu lama (tak sure lak how lama is lama).

Cara sujud:
Cara sujud Syukur sama seperti cara sujud Tilawah di luar sembahyang iaitu:

1. Duduk menghadap kiblat.
2. Takbiratul-ihram dengan niat, untuk sujud Syukur.
3. Sujud sekali sahaja.
4. Duduk semula selepas sujud beserta takbir.
5. Memberi salam.

Syarat sah sujud:

1. Suci daripada hadas (besar dan kecil)
2. Suci daripada najis (pada badan, pakaian, tempat duduk dan tempat sujud).
3. Menutup aurat

Menurut Imam Al-Qalyubiy bahawa sujud tilawah atau sujud syukur itu boleh diganti dengan zikir berikut bagi orang yang tidak melakukan sujud walaupun ia suci dari hadas (dalam keadaan berwudhu) seperti ucapan:

Ertinya:“Maha suci Allah dan segala puji-pujian bagiNya, tiada tuhan yang berhak disembah melainkan Allah dan Allah itu Maha Besar”.

Dibaca zikir tersebut sebanyak empat kali kerana ia boleh menggantikan tempat tahiyatul masjid.(Al-Fiqhu Al-Islami Wa Adillatuhu 1136)

hurm, as I am such a bad direction guider, key in je medan ikan bakar lumut kat GPS application masing2 ye. if not pun, ikut je signage "Out Bound Lumut", that will lead you to "medan ikan bakar". the restorant is open-air and spacious. mostly occupied by family, so sambil bukak puasa boleh tengok budak2 main kejar2 and bunga api. best best best (tiba2 windu rumah). the food is so-so, sesuai dengan harga. ikan pari, ketam goreng cili, tomyam campur, kailan goreng, drinks == RM50. murah sangat ok! gambar makanan tak sempat snap. faham2 la bulan puasa ni pelahap sikit. the service pon ok. even ramai orang and kitorang tak buat reservation and pre-order, tayah tunggu lama da dapat food da. and and and, surau is provided.

(banyak jugak berabis) repair. third year (2008), scuba diving pulak. since jatuh cinta kat laut ni, I da "tanned" tak hengat. semua pun tegur da gelap, tapi, fair or fun in life, I opt the latter. ehe. then, time intern pulak, duit abes untuk miri-kl and viceversa airfare. long distance relationship la konon. praktis2. sekolah berasrama penuh sabah, SBPS (nama lama sains sabah) camping kat pulau sapi. balik2, angah jadi "tanned" tak cerah2 da. lesson, jangan bawa baby pegi pulau. ehe (abah hensem tak terkata)

camping kat sapi island lagi. this time, angah besar sket. kecik2 dulu, boleh kata every year pegi camping kat sapi island. fikri je tak sempat pegi island (sebab abah&mama tak sayang fikri. hahaha). oye, sebelah angah is abah hensem tak terkata saya. abah, saranghae!!!

me and ben were like, "let's have fun this week, then balun FYP next week". ahaha. what the fish. alasan tak munasabah gila. da nama nya unplanned, memang kitorang just ikut jela ke mana our humble CAD bawa kitorang. dan dan teringat before graduate to do list. apalagi, taiping we go laa.

bukit larut tersangat curam compare to bukit kledang. btw, it is 14km to the summit. kitorang naik jeep je. ehe

pekena teh tarik kat kat cendana cafe. for accomdation, cendana hut offer room as low as RM80.

bunga2 around cendana cafe. if datang january-march, boleh la tengok tulip. nak snap picture pon boleh. the charge is RM10 for DSLR, and, saya tak amek detail lain. haha

misty aite? bukit larut memang terkenal sebagai tempat paling lembap kat Malaysia pon. tanya pak cik cendana cafe tuh, bukit larut memang frequently berhujan gerimis. so, bawalah payung ye.

ok. last week (31 July 09 till 6 August 09) UTP diarah tutup oleh kementerian kesihatan perak tengah sebab pendamic influenza A (H1N1). bagi yang still blur2 apakah menda alah ni, H1N1 ni flu, in bahasa, selesema. so, simpton2 dia macam sakit biasa, such as batuk2, pening kepala, running nose, etc, but, any delay in getting the right treatment can cause fatality. so, kalau rasa2 ada simpton nih, cepat2 la pegi klinik regardless takut doktor ke, takut kena tahan quarantine or what so ever. other than that, avoid public and jaga hygiene can help. (cam ceramah orang kementerian pon ada nih)

ok. kat rumah memang melangut tahap dewa tak buat apa2 tak sedar diri banyak kerja. kalau tak menambah kegemukan kaki dan kebuncitan perut, cabut uban mama, or, cabut bulu ketiak abah, or bagi kepala suh fikri belai. bahagia betul duk rumah. tapi, terkilan tak sempat jumpa angah. sedey2.

route: tar. beginner meh. start with the easier *we thought* route. the second route is stairs. gonna try it next time. in fact, most peeps ascending with stair route and hike down by the tar route. err...

reach peak at 3000ft: 1030

upon arriving, banyak gile kereta. when done hiking, our CAD left all alone. wuuhuu

see. ramai dah descend time kitorang ascent. most of them are chinese. adala beberapa kerat indians and malays (the malays not that friendly. we lagi banyak greet the old chinese folks). among the hikers are baby baru belajar bejalan and anjing comel2 attracted to ben orange shirt. haha. tanya uncle mr chin lookalike, die pukul 7 lagi dah start hiking (mind you, he is a pro climber. siap cakap lagi, kinabalu mount is very easy indeed!!!!)

budget vacation I: Bukit Tinggi, Genting and Zoo Negara

Actually, the main objective is to seat Radio Amateur Examination (RAE) on 24th June 2009 at MATRADE. Upon arriving MATRADE, we pity our humble CAD for not having any as tall as a mobile antenna can be, as ALL the cars do. Ben planning to install the dummy antenna if we pass the exam. RAE has 100 questions *damn susah ok*, 50 question of radio law and the rest is testing your technical knowledge. Even the EE engineer to be confess the technical part is hard. *cross finger, tightly to pass the exam*

Bukit Tinggi

The entrance fee is RM10 per head. Our plan is to cover top to bottom. Top is where the Japanese Garden and Botanical situated. For someone who loves tranquility, nature and green, these are the perfect place for you *unlike Ben who seem so bored.LOL*. If you wish to shoot in kimono *Japanese custom*, it will cost you RM20 per head for 30minutes. As this is BUDGET VACATION, we turn down the offer.

Colmar Tropicale

is actually a French-theme resort. You guess it right. It is basically a hotel with unique architecture. Within 30minutes we already cover the whole Colmar Tropicale. Realized that we have not have our lunch yet, we munch on beef salami croissant sandwich *which Ben like very much!!*, chocolate moist cake and pink guava lemonade *a French carbonated drink* for RM33. And, our drink glass bottle is our Colmar Tropicale souvenir *it is a budget vacation, remember*. Before heading to the next spot, we amazed by two pairs of black and white swans. The swan is bigger than a duck, and Ben said much whiter and cleaner than the duck. It makes Ben dreamt to have a pair in our own pool later on. After secretly feeding the swan with roller coaster, we off to the Rabbit Farm.

Rabbit Farm

The entrance is RM3 per person, and a small packet of rabbit food will cost RM1.50 *psst, you can also feed the rabbit leaves of tree around the farm. That way you can save RM1.50.LOL*. If you visiting within 10am-12pm and *err, i do not recall the evening session period*, you can have donkey ride.

Horse Trail *if Im not mistaken*

You will be charged RM2 per adult to see the horse. There are other packages offered by the trail, as listed below,

-RM20: 10minutes ride
-RM60: 30minutes ride, 15minutes in the ring and 15minutes along the road

First time standing side by side a horse, I never thought horse will be that big *amazed.amazed*. The stable boy introduced us to the friendly horses, Felicia, a 13-years old female and Patch, same age as Felicia. Felicia, the black with braid hair is unfortunately scared of us and keep hiding behind the stable boy *o0o, so sweet*. Patch in the other hand, very welcoming and keep asking for my pat, but she scared of Ben orange shirt. How I wish to own one.

Genting

is our immediate plan. At five, we are already in the cable car, heading to the peak. It cost us RM5 one-way. The cable car is operating 8am-11pm weekdays *sorry, I forget the other detail*. Instead of the fact it is weekdays, the crowd in Genting never gets smaller. There is a lot of tourists, mostly from China *Ben and I get worried wether to have our own mask when one of them sneeze. H1N1 affection is well-spread that time*. As our original plan is to kill our time with movie marathon in KL, we watch movie at the peak of Titiwangsa *is it?LOL*. We opt for premium package which offer us special seat with food and beverage for RM17 per person while watching Terminator:Salvation. We played the archade game to pass the time till 8pm. We spent RM20 on games and have blast of fun *now I know why people addicted to gambling*. We played water gun game and hit2 game and scream loud till people turn their head on us. while the others' redeem point reach thousand, we manage to get 207points and get a small glass *souvenir of Genting*.

At 8pm, we head to cinema. Terminator:Salvation is an adrenaline rush movie. You still can understand the story even you have not watch the first two sequel. But, we keep worry about last scheduled cable car till spoil our adrenaline flow. Lucky us, it is two-hour movie. We rush to cable car after that. All in all, we spend RM70 three hours we are up there.

Zoo Negara

This is another out of plan destination. To our shock, the entrance costs us RM15 per adult. Additional expenditure on Zoo Negara Map (RM2) and parking fee (RM4). If you wish to ride the tram instead of walking, you will have to pay out extra RM3 per head. Zoo Negara is huge and you will gratefull if you purchase the map. to my disappointment, all the big cats *my reason pujuk Ben to go here* are unavailable due to the collapse. By the way, every 11am the animal is scheduled to be fed and animal shows at the amphitheater every 3.30pm.
